Abstract:
This abstract provides a concise overview of the relationship between neoliberalism and the economic development of Bangladesh from the 1980s to the beginning of the millennium. Since the 1980s, the economic ideology of liberalism that lies at the heart of the neoliberal policy outcomes in Bangladesh, which emphasizes free markets, deregulation, and low state interference, has grown in acceptance. This study investigates how neoliberal policies have impacted Bangladesh's economic environment and its trajectory for development.
