Abstract:
La Enfermedad Periodontal es una patología infecciosa que afecta los tejidos del soporte del diente. En los últimos años se ha investigado su relación con diferentes enfermedades sistémicas entre ellas el Alzheimer. En la presente revisión sistemática se plantea estudiar la posible relación entre la Enfermedad Periodontal y la Enfermedad de Alzheimer, también evaluar la prevalencia de Alzheimer en pacientes periodontales y evaluar su salud periodontal.
