dc.description.abstractForensic dentistry is the branch of forensic science that focuses on the examination and analysis of dental evidence that provides legal information in cases of victims’ identification. Several forensic methods emerged through history, and each one had a specific impact on the outcome of an investigation. The aim of this review was to study the role and evolution of dental and radiological examinations in forensic dentistry for victims’ identification throughout history by analyzing the different techniques and methods available at a certain moment in time.es
