For this group, 9 didactic units have been elaborated, where different criteria, standards, contents, and competences involving the use of the English language are worked on. The methodology applied focuses on the communicative, social, emotional, cognitive, and cultural approach to the study of English language and literature, being an active methodology that facilitates the intervention and collaboration of students in real learning situations. On the other hand, since in this group there are certain students with specific educational support needs, although they do not require extraordinary measures, attention to diversity is more than essential in this program, since it seeks equal opportunities, educational inclusion and equal rights and opportunities that help to overcome discrimination. With respect to the evaluation carried out, it is in accordance with the evaluation criteria of the 1st year of Bachillerato and focuses on the development of the student's competencies. Taking this into account, an initial evaluation is applied, to determine the personal characteristics of each student; continuous evaluation, to collect information continuously and provide the necessary help; and final evaluation, to know if the objectives proposed in each unit have been achieved. Finally, it is necessary to mention the importance reflected in this program by the Canarian Government's plans on education in values, being social life and coexistence rules the main characteristics to which this program pays attention.}, title = {The Importance of Motivation in the Teaching of English}, keywords = {Programación didáctica}, keywords = {Competencias del estudiante}, keywords = {Metodología activa}, author = {Pérez Laguna, Desirée de la Sierra}, }
